Form submitting multiple emails

Hi there, I’m having a similar issue to what was happening previously.

Every time I submit the form I receive 3 duplicates, this is also happening when clients contact me.

I would understand if the page was refreshed but this is not the case.

Also could you please tell me how to setup a thank you page for when the form is submitted, I have searched previous threads but each seems to go to a ticket.

Thank you for your help :)

Who is your host?

Are they using an Exchange email server?

open the server behaviors panel, and double click the Universal Email server behavior. to set a thank you redirect, you can set the Go To page.

click on the To button to go to the Advanced to settings.

try increasing the time between emails. if the host is using an exchange server, it may send duplicate emails if it tries to send multiple copies to different addresses, increasing the time between emails can correct that.

Hi my host is namesco. i do not seem to have those options available to me with this server. i was wondering if this multiple email sending was due to me editting the form multiple times?

This only stated happening when i started to edit the form.

Also when i click on the To button under universal email settings i cant see the option Go To? am i being a complete novice lol? does the thankyou page after submitting a form, need to be configured within the code?

Hi, i managed to get to the bottom of the multiple sending of messages. i had 4 identical php codes for the form on my contacts page, this was caused by re-editting the form 3 editional times after creating it.

The only thing i need help with now is to redirect to a thank you page, please could you break this down step by step, many thanks :)

open the server behaviors panel.

in the list of server behaviors, double click the Universal Email server behavior.

for the Go To settings, click the folder icon and select the page you wish to redirect to.

To open the server behaviors panel, go to Window -> Server Behaviors.

if you have the stand alone version of Form Builder, the most recent version is 2.0.1.
