Data Bridge Preset Manager

I have some small queries with regard to using Web Assist > Preset Manager. (PM)
I have a Preset being developed.
When I open a Preset in the Web Assist > Preset Manager

The Preset Loads however the box "Create the table for me" is selected and shows admin2.
I deselect the box and the correct table shows.
Should the initial state include a tick?
===================

In the PM I select Manage Pages, go to the Update page and use Set up lables and form validations.
I make some changes click Finish and then Done.
The process finishes instantly. No File generation take place.

If the Preset Manager is again opened the changes have been retained in the PM.
Should files be generated?
========================

In the Results page the link to the Detail page is not generated correctly (easily corrected).
The link goes to localhost should this happen?
Thanks
John

Default for presets is to create the table for you. this really is not an issue in the preset manager since the job of the preset manager is to Mange and Edit presets. using the preset manager just allows you to edit the settings for the preset that will be applied to pages that are created when you use the Create Pages Wizard.

Editing a preset in the preset manager will not create pages.

to create pages, use the Create Pages wizard.

the link to the results page will be dependent on the site settings and the URL Prefix that is entered for the testing server connection.

Thanks Jason
I expect I will come to understand in time but right now I cant quite see the point in creating the Data Bridge Preset pages. (Not a problem).

With regards to the created link to a Detail page.
The text link created on the left side always is created to go to Localhost.
The icon link created on the right side goes to the correct Detail page.

Maybe that indicates something?

John

Would you believe it.
I just created a new results and detail page to send and when I opened the results page it works perfectly!
I have created quite a few recently but have corrected them. Now when I want one it refuses to go wrong!

Aint that life?
If it happens again I will forward the page.
My apologies and relief..
regards
John
