Calcuating Distances

Can PMG be used to calculate distances? I have a php script I use but the distances aren't very reliable and I'm looking for something better. Google calculates the route which the script does not. I have Pro Maps but am not sure if it can do that. Anyone have any ideas? Or perhaps a script someone can suggest? Thanks

Pro Maps for Google uses the Google Map API, if you use driving directions in pro maps, it will return the distance. but you will also need to show the directions along with distance,

I just want to show distances along side of the town and there will be many towns listed. So I guess what you are saying is no, it will not?

No, Pro Maps for Google wont be able to do that.
