Power cms EDIT button on webpage Why?

I have just created my first PowerCMS webpage
lateAvailability.php
and there is an EDIT button on the page which links directly to the admin page.

Why is this happening and how can I stop it happening.
Where have I gone wrong?

It's totally normal Malcolm and you haven't 'gone wrong'

It just a feature of PCMS which allows you to access the editing area directly from the live pge in question.... Try clicking on one of the edit buttons and see what happens

Hope this helps

The edit button shows if you are logged in.

if you want to disable that, you can edit the CSM code that is added to your page. for example, the code to show the CMS on your page will look similar to this:

php:
echo WA_getCMSContent($database_PowerCMSConnection, $PowerCMSConnection, 'testing', 'testing', false);

change the lat parameter to true:

php:
echo WA_getCMSContent($database_PowerCMSConnection, $PowerCMSConnection, 'testing', 'testing', true);

to hide the edit button
