Create Email Message Error

I updated Data Bridge to the 1.1.2 and now when I try to Create an Email message from a file I get two different errors.

Either DW will crash altogether or if I'm lucky to get a dialog box opened to select the file that I want and I can select the file but then the dialog box opens up again and will not close after selecting the file. It just loops over and over.

How can I fix this?

have you tried Deleting the Dreamweaver Cache file from the users configuration folder:
common_installation_issues.php

Yes I have tried that multiple times and I also tried reinstalling the extension.

Uninstall and reinstall Data Bridge. It looks like you may have installed an older version of a WebAssist extension after Data Bridge, causing the error you have attached. A fresh install should clear it up. Clearing the filecache.dat file after installation with Dreamweaver closed wouldn't hurt.

I followed your suggestions --- it did not seem to work. When the extension was re-installed, the same error came up.

That error implies that you have uninstalled a webassist extension and then tried to open up Universal Email without a page open. I think if you have an open page when opening the interface you shouldn't get this error.

It looks like you have been struggling with this for a few days. If you post a U.S. phone number or Skype contact information if you are international, then I'll call you and do screen sharing so I can debug your problems and make sure you get up and running.

All these are happening in the process of installing/activating the new DataBridge vs 1.22
