How do you stop the correct form data from clearing?

I have a form with multiple fields and each has a 'Validation Show if' applied to it which works fine, but how do you stop the correct form data from clearing? So that the user only has to complete the missing or incorrect field as opposed to the whole form.

Don't worry I managed to search through previous threads and found 'Reload this Page Problem with Initial Value on form Fields when page returns validation error ' and from Dani Chankhour's response (Instead of using the post for the value, instead use the session the is created from the Server Side Validation. to do this select the input field and in the Property Inspector select the lighting bold next to the Init Val and expand the WA Validation Entries (pagename.php) and select the form field name. this should keep the initial value on failure.) I managed to work out the use of the Initial Value within Dreamweaver.
