When ran form builder password confirm not working

In the past I used the form builder and it created the behavior for the Confirm Password. I ran it for a site that's now Live but when I tab out of the confirm password field, it does not pop up the message about password matching. Also, the password does not pop up the message about password strength. I don't know what I did different previous time (a couple of months ago) which had worked. The site is Live and I'm no PHP or JavasScript Guru. How do I fix? There are two pages.

Thank you.

Are you using Form Toolkit? or using Data Bridge?

if using Data Bridge, make sure you have installed the latest 1.1.0 update that was released last week.

Sorry, this thread should've gone under CSS Form Builder. That's what I used. Version 2.01.

I still need the help though. The site is live and, those fields aren't working the way they should and i don't have enough knowledge of coding, let alone all the wa code to make it work. Can i get some kind of answer as to why it didn't build the code for that and what's best thing to do now? Thanks.

I cant say why the validation is not being applied correctly when you run the izard, i have been trying to recreate the issue, but have not been able to.

I can tell you how to correct it thou
gh:
for the confirm validation:
on the registration.php page

change:

<div class="fieldGroup"> <span id="Confirm_Spry">
<input id="Confirm_Password" name="Confirm_Password" type="password" value="" class="formPasswordfield_Large" tabindex="3" onBlur="hideServerError('Confirm_Password_ServerError');">
</span> </span>
<span class="confirmRequiredMsg">A value is required.</span><span class="confirmInvalidMsg">Please ensure password entries match.</span> </span>
</div>

to:

<div class="fieldGroup"> <span id="Confirm_Spry">
<input id="Confirm_Password" name="Confirm_Password" type="password" value="" class="formPasswordfield_Large" tabindex="3" onBlur="hideServerError('Confirm_Password_ServerError');">
<span class="confirmRequiredMsg">A value is required.</span><span class="confirmInvalidMsg">Please ensure password entries match.</span> </span>
</div>

on the www.thescalescatalog.com/ page:

change:

<div class="fieldGroup"> <span>
<input id="Confirm_Password" name="Confirm_Password" type="password" value="" class="formPasswordfield_Large" tabindex="7" />
</span>
</div>

to:

<div class="fieldGroup"> <span id="Confirm_Spry">
<input id="Confirm_Password" name="Confirm_Password" type="password" value="" class="formPasswordfield_Large" tabindex="7" />
<span class="confirmRequiredMsg">A value is required.</span><span class="confirmInvalidMsg">Please ensure password entries match.</span></span>
</div>

and change:

<script type="text/javascript">
<!--
var Email_Address_Spry = new Spry.Widget.ValidationTextField("Email_Address_Spry", "email",{validateOn:["blur"]});
var Password_Spry = new Spry.Widget.ValidationPassword("Password_Spry",{validateOn:["blur"]});
var Company_Name_Spry = new Spry.Widget.ValidationTextField("Company_Name_Spry", "none",{validateOn:["blur"]});
var Address_1_Spry = new Spry.Widget.ValidationTextField("Address_1_Spry", "none",{validateOn:["blur"]});
var City_Spry = new Spry.Widget.ValidationTextField("City_Spry", "none",{validateOn:["blur"]});
var State_Spry = new Spry.Widget.ValidationSelect("State_Spry",{validateOn:["change"]});
var Postal_Code_Spry = new Spry.Widget.ValidationTextField("Postal_Code_Spry", "none", { maxChars:12 , validateOn:["blur"]});
//-->
</script>

to:

<script type="text/javascript">
<!--
var Email_Address_Spry = new Spry.Widget.ValidationTextField("Email_Address_Spry", "email",{validateOn:["blur"]});
var Password_Spry = new Spry.Widget.ValidationPassword("Password_Spry",{validateOn:["blur"]});
var Company_Name_Spry = new Spry.Widget.ValidationTextField("Company_Name_Spry", "none",{validateOn:["blur"]});
var Address_1_Spry = new Spry.Widget.ValidationTextField("Address_1_Spry", "none",{validateOn:["blur"]});
var City_Spry = new Spry.Widget.ValidationTextField("City_Spry", "none",{validateOn:["blur"]});
var State_Spry = new Spry.Widget.ValidationSelect("State_Spry",{validateOn:["change"]});
var Postal_Code_Spry = new Spry.Widget.ValidationTextField("Postal_Code_Spry", "none", { maxChars:12 , validateOn:["blur"]});
var Confirm_Spry = new Spry.Widget.ValidationConfirm("Confirm_Spry", "Password",{validateOn:["blur"]});
//-->
</script>

for the password field length, select the password field in design view, note the blue bounding box, if you click the blue bounding box, it trigger the Spry settings to appear in the property inspector, you can edit the spry settings to enter your strength requirements.
