Is a how to book possible??

I have powersuite and think that powerstore 2 would be a much greater value if you could put up a .pdf that specifically gives instruction on how to use each of WA's extensions to completely customize powerstore. While I agree powerstore 2 can be customized a book or place to get info on how to fully get all the benefits out of all the WA stuff we have bought would be most helpful and would probably save you guys a ton of time. Example I would like to customize powerstore to offer different catagories for each product. I would also like to have collapsable menus on the right side instead of it showing ALL (100's) of my products on the right side. I am all the many things I would like to do are doable we just need a general hand book. Example: in this hand book there would be a section on shopping cart and all the different areas you can edit with it and how to "easily" pull those customizable areas up. Same for data assist and so forth. Maybe this already exists and I can't find it. The "how to" is ok but is to general and is made for people who might not own the "Whole Shabang" that Web Assist has to offer. How about something for the dedicated owners of WA stuff. Just my thoughts. Look forward to a response.

This is most definitely possible, but not something that will happen overnight.

We are currently working on producing How Tos to assist PowerStore owners with making certain modifications with eCart. We are focused on creating these first as they are in high demand for our customers.

As for our other extensions, we intend to document certain scenarios based on demand and degree of complexity. So, if there is something you are looking for, let us know. We have a contact form for you to submit your documentation ideas: submit-idea.php

Keep in mind that since PowerStore was created using a lot of WebAssist extensions, the documentation for those extensions will still apply when working with PowerStore. The greater an understanding you have of using those extensions, the easier it will be to use them to modify PowerStore.

This would not only save lots of tech time for the WA support staff, it would be a dynamic marketing tool to encourage folks to purchase the plug-ins they need to create their preferred customization. Like collapsible menus, tricks with cookies and sessions, eCart variations. Hopefully, if one purchases Digital File Pro - they should be able to configure Power Store to sell e-books and downloadables.
