Google Maps not working properly

Google Maps not working properly

I have added a map to this page: contact.html

I've selected it to show driving directions. As you can see, no driving directions show up, no pin for the address shows up, no buttons for zooming show up, the shadow for the address balloon is wrong, when I click on the map in Dreamweaver (CS4) and then click the "edit" button which shows up in the properties panel - I get blank information and if I re-fill in that information - it creates a new map rather than editing the current map.

Does anything about this work??

It doesn't look like you entered a starting address for the directions.

when using the map on a static HTML page, you need to enter the starting address for the directions in the pro maps wizard.

To offer the site visitor the ability to enter their address, you would need to use a dynamic PHP page, and add a form to the page with text boxes for street, city, state and zip. then in the pro maps wizard, on the directions tab, click the lightning bolt icons next to address settings, and select the corresponding form elements.

The address ballon issue is caused by conflicting CSS on your page.

This css:
.contactfont {
font-family: "Century Gothic";
font-size: 18px;
line-height: 22px;
font-weight: bold;
color: #333;
}

is causing the conflict

I removed the option for the directions - that's fine. It's too bad the program wizard doesn't explain that this option doesn't work for a static page.

I deleted the map (and deleted the webassist folder from the server) and started over. I put the map in its own table - with no class attached to it. Same problem. Nothing changed.

Also, you did not address why, when I click edit - I cannot edit the map, I have to create a new one.
