using member info on a homepage

Hi Jason

Not sure how to phrase this but.....

What I am trying to do is on this homepage there is a 'featured member' section in the middle. ybg/

In that section I would like to place a company name and a summary which then links through to the members page. This section will be changed every so often by the client.

Now, the company name and summary are already part of each members entry within the template 'zMembers' in the backend so I just need to use that info.

How would I set up so that all the client has to do is change a digit in the back end and then that would populate that relevant company name and summary on the home page?

Hope that makes sense

Jamie

this is not a supported modification to the Power CMS System.

you would need add a column to the cms2_content to mark the content as featured.

create a page that returns a listing of the members content records and add a link that passes the content ID to an Update record behavior to update the content record and set the featured column to 1 for that record and 0 for all others.

if you need assistance adding this to the cms system, I suggest signing up for a premiere support appointment.
