Insert Record

Dear Jason, this problem drove me daft last night. But you might be interested in this.

See sample page attached for example.

I have a form which inserts a users family members details (first name, last name, email, age...).

Underneath this form I have a Dynamic Table from Dreamweaver, which displays the information about the members in the family (first name, last name...).

So when a person adds a member, it immediately populates the 'Dynamic Table below - I don't have it redirecting anywhere after inserting family member data. But...

...it only populates the Dynamic Table if I use Dreamweaver's 'Insert Record' server behaviour in the form. If I use DataAssist's Insert Record, it doesn't populate the dynamic table immediately - I have to refresh the browser. I can redirect the behaviour back to itself when creating the Insert Record behaviour- but this isn't what I need to do with Dreamweaver Insert Record - the redirect part is left blank.

Is there a solution to this or am I better off using Dreamweaver 'insert record' in a situation like this.

It is probably just the order of the code on the page.

You can probably just copy and paste the insert code above the recordset code so that the insert takes place before the recordset is created so that it will contain the newly inserted data.
