PNG Given a Blue ( #3A54A7 ) Background

HI Guys,

I have seen a similar post for an issue with PNG images being uploaded with a black background.

However my issue is giving the images a blue ( #3A54A7 ) background..

I have the following settings

Web images only is active
Format: convert to JPG - Highest Quality ( I have also tried on Keep existing format with the same results.
Rize to fit width ( No background color option is given, but the default is #ffffff )

example can be found here.
products.php?category_id=4

attached is the insert page

JPG Images dont support transparencies, to allow for transparancies, you should convert to PNG or GIF

Still doesnt explain why it given that colour background - it must be stipulated somewhere in the code that it is BLUE. Im sure it can be changed to white
