Hi,
is it ok, that there is no template design in my pages (in dreamweaver) I created from the framework theme?

I dont follow.

the theme is the design that you apply to the pages.

you should start with a blank page, apply the theme to it, then add your content.

Hi,

I create a template in dreamweaver, from sculptor. And converted it into a framework theme. then I created a page from that theme. and there is the design missing.

Cheers,

the design will not show in dreamweaver.

it will show when you browse to the page in your web browser.

Hey Jason,

Not to see the design makes it a little bit difficult to create pages :-(
Do I allways have to work in live view?
Is this a bug or is it just the way that it is?
strange. Or am I dont understand the framework theme ting?

Cheers,
Denis

This is as designed.

Using Themes, the Design is separated from the content.

on pages that are based on the theme, you will see only the content, not the design.

Hi Jason,

is there a way to use the "TemplateBeginIf" optional regions?
When I create a Framework Theme, then I cant use the Option.

Cheers,
Denis

Can you get around this issue by using Design-time style sheets in Design View? I seem to remember doing something like that in the past, but I could be wrong.

instead of optional regions, you should use dynamic plugins.

I'll be honest, I have not used Design-time style sheets, so i cant really say if that would work or not.
