screwed up :(

Hi guys

I accidentally added a . after 300 when I entered it into the 'show' field in the database for the pcms2_contents table and now am getting this error:

You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '300.' at line 2

I dont know how to edit this to get rid of the .

Can anyone help please?

TIA

Jamie

you would need to use PHPMyAdmin or another GUI tool to access the database directly and correct the problem.

Hey Jason

It's when I am in phantasm in that the error is being thrown up when I try to access the table pcms2_contents - just don't know how or where to edit it to correct it

what is phantasm?

You need to use MySQL GUI Tool like PHPMyAdmin to access the database directly to edit the problem record in the pcms2_contents table.

Other GUI Tools to try include Heidi SQL, SQL Yog or Sequel Pro

Sorry. That was autocorrect and it should read phpmyadmin

It isn't a record as such.... When I went to increase the show records from 30 to 300 I accidentally added a '.' after the 300 and now I don't know how to edit that to remove the period....

In PHPMyAdmin?

I still don't follow.

Try closing the browser and clearing the entire cache perhaps?

have you tried using a different Browser?

Oh ok..didn't realise it could be a cache issue... Will try that.

Thanks
