Universal Email Session_commit() & sessions_start()

Universal Email Session_commit() & sessions_start()

Hi

hopefully someone might be able to help. I've had an ongoing issue with UE where if I use session variables in the email body I invariably have to comment out session_commit() & session_start() on lines 54/55 & 8485 of the file that have the server behaviour created in it. This then allows the use of session variables throughout the body of the email. I've got used to having to do this. But I'm now working on a very large project which has over 35 different email bodies on various actions. I would happily comment out all of these but - here's the issue, each time I do this the server behaviour link disappears so I can't use the simplicity of the extension to make any changes - if I uncomment the items then the server behaviour returns. Does anyone know how I can fix this or where my problem may lie.

thanks in advance

M

why do you have to comment those lines?

It should not be needed.

The eCart receipt emails use session variables and do not need to comment those lines.
