File Upload Black Background

When I updated to the latest version of Data Bridge now if I upload a png file with a transparent background whether I convert to a jpg or leave it as a png file the transparent background area now goes black.

the JPG file type does not support transparent backgrounds, converting to JPG will cause the transparency to turn black.

to maintain transparency, you will need to use PNG or GIF file types, unfortunately though, this only works on some transparent PNGS and not all.

we have found that some PNGs encode the transparency in a none standard format that cannot be detected by the GD library. This is a limitation of the GD library not being detect the non standard encoding.

Is there away to make it default to white instead of black? As that would be more useful.

There is not a way to do that in the current version. I have logged a feature request to see if that can be done i a future update.
