Switch/Maestro payments?

Switch/Maestro payments?

I have integrated ecart into my asp website and I am using Paypal Payments pro Uk as the gateway.

Now when I try and process a TEST order using switch/solo/maestro as the selected card type it fails on every attempt. Could this be because it requires a start date or issue no for these card types and if so how do I implememtn them into my checkout pages?

#Is there any error reporting I can use to find out why things fail, or do I just have to contend with a failure message in a html page which doesn't really offer any explanation???

Any help much appreciated.

It is hard to say what the error might be if you are just getting failed transactions. You can add the error reporting to your failure page so that you get a more descriptive response. We have a How To on this that can be found on the eCart support page under How Tos:

ecart/

It is titled Debugging eCart Transaction Failed issues (PDF).

Cool thank you very much. I should be able to determine why I am receiving errors now :)

Based on the lack of reply it seems you may have got something figured out for this problem. If you need any additional help or have any questions please post back and let us know.
