Structuring the search criteria

Structuring the search criteria

Hi there

I've tried to find the answer to this before posting but it's really hard to know what to search for.

Using Data Bridge DataAssist Search, I want the criteria to be like this:

var1=1 AND var2=1 AND var3 contains $search OR var4 contains $search

But, from what I can see there is no way of putting () in and this is crucial. I want it to be like this:

(var1=1 AND var2=1) AND ((var3 contains $search) OR (var4 contains $search))

How can I achieve this? It goes without saying that the parenthesis can completely change the results.

Thanks in anticipation.

Jon

If you use Keyword search criteria and select each keyword to search multiple columns, it will create the grouping you are after.
