Email logging has stopped working with 1.0.9

Email logging has stopped working with 1.0.9

I use the same webpage (with the UE Server Behavior) over and over again to send announcements to our club membership. The page has been used many times over the past many months with few problems and the email logging part has been working fine.

I merely open the behavior and click DW Edit to edit the email content. After updating to Data Bridge 1.0.9 the emails I sent out today are not inserted into the email log.

Note: I have syncronized the webassist folder numerous times trying to get this to work.

Please help.
Dennis

In previous versions, the logging was handled through a session variable, on mass mailings, this was causing an issue with some servers so this was changed to use a global variable instead.

you will need to reset the logging settings so that it will use the global variable instead of using the session.

Jason,

Could you please explain this in more detail, I'm afraid I just don't follow what you are saying.

Was this mentioned anywhere? I saw in the 1.0.9 changes that some things were changed with the email logging, but I saw nothing about what you are mentioning or that we the developer/WA user need to take action on.

edit the UE server behavior, go to the logging section, select each column for the email logging table and reselect the binding.

Click the lightning bolt icon for each column, expand the Current Email binding group and select the corresponding binding for that column.

Geeezzzeeee Jason,

Why can I not get an answer to my question.

This is so frustrating, I have already spent days with another data bridge problem that should have never occurred. An now I have to make 5 posts to this forum thread and still don't have an answer.

I am getting very dissappointed with Web Assist.

If I expand all the options in the "Select Data Bindings" window there must be a hundred choices.

It should be clear from my very first post that I am a rookie. I NEED BETTER HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In the Universal Email server behavior, click the Configure Email Logging button.

on the email logging screen, in the field values section select one of the columns from the email log table, for example, the EmailTo column, then click the lightning bolt next to value.

In the Dynamic bindings window, locate the [CurrentEmail] binding group and expand it, select the corresponding binding, for example the To binding.

see the attached screen shot.

I have made the changes that you suggest, and still nothing is being saved to the email_log table.
