Simple Question

Simple Question

One little pet pete is how the category select field displays on the search page on my Mac in both Safari and Firefox (haven't tested in IE). I would like the drop down to be a drop down rather than a large "text-area" looking box with the options all showing.

Example: products_search.php

How do I change the css to make that happen in the configurable.css file?

it displays that way because it is a multiple select list allowing you to select multiple categories.

you could change it to a standard drop down select list, but you would loos the ability to search multiple categories at the same time.

on the products_search.php page, change the code for the select list:

php:
<select name="ProductCategoryID[]" size="4" multiple="multiple" id="ProductCategoryID" >

and remove the size="4" multiple="multiple" attributes:

php:
<select name="ProductCategoryID[]" id="ProductCategoryID" >

Thanks so much! This is always the dilemma isn't it? ... form vs. function
