Retain high resolution

I have a client who needs to keep high resolution in images for later download by her clients. I see in my tests in PG that 20mg is the largest upload. I can get large images uploaded but then when right click to open in new window so download can occur, it has been web optimized.

Is there any adjustment to PG to show the image as it does now, but use a high res for downloading/

Thanks

No, power gallery does not have support for offering a high res download.

We could help add this in premiere support appointment though.

I didn't explain well enough. Don't need the download... need to keep the resolution in tact for the upload step. Possible?

So what I want to do is install PG but make a change so that it keeps a high res image available. My testing shows that the largest image uploaded (that is seen in center of gallery) is not as high a res as uploaded. The download can be managed with a right click. So can a change be made to preserve the high res?

thanks

the gallery uses image resizer to create a new copy of the image at the dimensions specified for the large image in the gallery settings.

in the webassist/caching/CachedResize_Image.php

you can change line 207:

php:
$process = $image_save_func($image_c, $save_path);

to:
$process = $image_save_func($image_c, $save_path, 100);

to force the resized to image to be created at the highest possible clarity for a jpeg
