Can't seem to install Power CMS Builder on remote

Can't seem to install Power CMS Builder on remote

This is a new one on me...

I have a database connection, I have put the content into the database via adding content from Dreamweaver. I have uploaded the necessary folder for the CMS and one page (index.php) just to get it going.

When I call the page up, I get a totally blank page in IE and a small message in Firefox the says "No input file specified", there is no other message.

What could be causing this. I should say that I did not build this site, I am only adding the CMS to it.

Site URL: index.php

Sounds like you have run the CMS INstall script to install it on your Local System,

Before uploading to the remote server, you will need to edit the Connections/PowerCMSConnection.php file to use the correct details for connecting to the remote database server on your host.

The script or path to the database server seems fine. The database path, name, and password all are correct. I don't see anything that's point to my local machine.

Is there anything else that would cause this?

Thanks

did you export the tables from local database and import it to remote database server?

The database was set up for me on an external server so there has not been a local database or exporting. I had no trouble with the two previous websites I used Power CMS on using it in the manner I am. Unfortunately I haven't got the access to the database directly just via the connection.

The site is dynamic, when using "Add content to PowerCMS from Dreamweaver there were no issues populating the database.

So no, there hasn't been a need for importing and exporting.

Jason, i'm pretty sure i found the issue i just had to wait for an answer frim a support tech on the other end of things. It turns out the the domain and IP address were not set up properly so i was trying to set up on a dev server vs. The actual production server.

I have the correct credentials now and will test that out when i get back to the office. This wasn't a PowerCMS issue to begin with i don't think. I'll confirm in a little while.

Thanks for your time on this.
