Email is not sent when more than one recipient in the 'to' box

I am using CDONTS with ASP/VB. Whenever i try to send an email (CDONTS New) and if I have more than one recipient in the 'to' box the email is NOT sent.
I can have more than one in the cc, and bcc those work fine, but the 'to' it doesnt work, if I only have one recipient it works fine.
I checked the values for the 'to' and they are correct, something like:
email1@demo.com,email2@demo.com

I think this is a bug, I am using Universal email 2.8

a couple of things you may try:
1) Make sure to leave the From Display name field Blank.

2) make sure that none of the addresses you are sending the email to are the same as the from email address.

3) Try separating the email addresses by a semi colon instead of a comma:
email1@demo.com; email2@demo.com

not emailing

I tried all the options, name is blank, tried using ; and made sure none of th recipients is the sender and still doesnt work.
And sometimes they will need to bcc themselves (sender) that should work.

universal email

Which by the way started happening after I updated to the latest version of universal email 2.8, before it worked just fine.
