URGENT: Validation modifications not working

I've pulled my hair out here and the client is not happy! They have a number of customers trying to register from Canada and the Canada zips aren't validating on the SecurityAssist generated registration.php page. I originally had the zips set to allow only US 5, but later via the "WA Server Validations" I went back in and checked the US 9 and Canadian 6 options so it should accept all three, but it STILL only accepts the 5 digit US code, and rejects the US 9 and canadian codes.

Please help, I've tried searching everywhere and can't understand why my WA Server Validation changes don't seem to take effect. The site is live and I need a fix ASAP!

Page is attached.

Both Spry Validation and Server Validation are used on the registration page.

you will also need to edit the spry validation settings to change the allowed zip code.

In design view, click the zip code text box. Notice the blue bounding box around the text box, click that. that will trigger the spry validation settings in the properties panel to allow you to edit the settings used by spry validation for the zip code.

I went into the spry settings as outlined above, but I see no option for allowing 5, 9 digit and Canadian at the same time, just a choice between the three. In an effort to expedite a functional form, I've removed all validation from those blanks but I'd like to reinstate them properly if I can get this worked out.

spry validation doesn't offer the flexibility you are looking for, the best option would be to set the validation type to none so that spry only validates if something is entered, use server side validation to handle the zip code format.

It is quite confusing then, as the WA Server Validation indicates checkboxes for all three. Did I miss something in the wizard that would have set up a server side validation as opposed the spry validation we're talking about?

The wizard uses both Server and Spry validation by default.

Server validation and spry validation do not have the same abilities, to make spry validation work along side server validation when selecting the option to use all three zip code formats, you need to also edit spry validation to not enforce the zip code format.
