Submit clears form fields - no email, no redirect

Submit clears form fields - no email, no redirect

I am running PHP on Linux box. I have set up my form in Dreamweaver using Universal Email extension. When I test my php form on my live server (with WA_Universal_Email directory and all included files on the server as well) I click the "Submit" button and the form fields are cleared and there is no redirect and no email is sent.

Most likely there is a problem with the selected trigger for universal email.

Can you compress the page you applied Universal Email into a zip file and attach it to your reply so I can examine the code?

Ok, glad to hear it.

If you could, please post back with a description of what was wrong and how you fixed it.

Simple case of UE applying "mail" as my email object for PHP and it needs to be "Mail"

However, I am now having redirect issues.

One form with two UE instances - both emails are being sent, but the form simply clears - no re direct.

Form code reads -

<?php require_once("WA_Universal_Email/Mail_PHP.php"); ?>
<?php require_once("WA_Universal_Email/MailFormatting_PHP.php"); ?>

<?php
if ((isset($_POST["Submit"]))) {
//WA Universal Email object="Mail"
//Send Loop Once Per Entry
$RecipientEmail = "".((isset($_POST["ToField"]))?$_POST["ToField"]:"") ."";include("WA_Universal_Email/WAUE_formContentNEW_5.php");

//Send Mail All Entries
if ("thanks.html"!="") {
header("Location: thanks.html");
}
}
?>
<?php
if ((isset($_POST["Submit"]))) {
//WA Universal Email object="mail"
//Send Loop Once Per Entry
$RecipientEmail = "".((isset($_POST["FromField"]))?$_POST["FromField"]:"") ."";include("WA_Universal_Email/WAUE_NewsletterSignUp_5.php");

//Send Mail All Entries
if ("thanks.html"!="") {
header("Location: thanks.html");
}
}
?>

You have a space at line 3, remove that space.

both server behavior are set to redirect after sending the email, this will cause only the first eemail to be sent.

try changing your code to:

php:
<?php require_once("WA_Universal_Email/Mail_PHP.php"); ?>
<?php
require_once("WA_Universal_Email/MailFormatting_PHP.php"); ?>
<?php
if ((isset($_POST["Submit"]))) {
//WA Universal Email object="Mail"
//Send Loop Once Per Entry
$RecipientEmail "".((isset($_POST["ToField"]))?$_POST["ToField"]:"") ."";include("WA_Universal_Email/WAUE_formContentNEW_5.php");

//Send Mail All Entries
if (""!="") {
header("Location:");
}
}
?>
<?php
if ((isset($_POST["Submit"]))) {
//WA Universal Email object="mail"
//Send Loop Once Per Entry
$RecipientEmail "".((isset($_POST["FromField"]))?$_POST["FromField"]:"") ."";include("WA_Universal_Email/WAUE_NewsletterSignUp_5.php");

//Send Mail All Entries
if ("thanks.html"!="") {
header("Location: thanks.html");
}
}
?>

if you still have problems add the following at line 1 to see if there are any php errors occurring:

php:
<?php
error_reporting
(E_ALL);
ini_set('display_errors','on');
?>
