Help with Layout & Fonts

Hi can someone lead me into the right direction to do these 2 things:

1) I want to add custom webfonts to the "admin/design/edit" area where you can choose from the drop down the fonts.... can i do that? so i can apply fonts that way globally.

2) I'm trying to find the base layout template or whatever it is, so that i can remove the main menu, move the login/registration & search buttons, and add 2 images to the footer. I want all this to appear on every page... but i can't seem to find it!

Thanks for any help! :)
Dianne

1) in the webassist/themes folder, here is a subfolder for each available theme.

in each of those subfolders, there is a file named theme_settings.xml. The available fonts are set in the following code:

<wafontface>
<option value="" >none</option>
<option value="Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif" >Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif</option>
<option value="Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif" >Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif</option>
<option value="Courier New, Courier, monospace" >Courier New, Courier, monospace</option>
</wafontface>

you could add you own font family to this list. you would need to edit each themes theme_settings.xml including the one in the temp_editing folder.

the base templates for the power store themes are in the Templates directory under the folder for the theme yo are using.
