i signed up to usps and got my id number but my shipping quote keeps failing i get the following message

this is not a very helpful error.

from the bindings panel, expand the USPS binding group and select the fukk request and full response bindings.

The full response will give us more details on what the shipping rate lookup is failing.

I have upgraded my account to allow me to access the production server and i still get denied, i am entering my user id where it says user id , is there somewhere i need to put my password in? the checkout wizard has no password option

only user id is needed, you don't need a password.
