iRite etc v Data Bridge

I'm in the process of designing another site - again using dataAssist, iRite, securityAssist and the image uploader.

This is for the admin side only - upload an image change some copy etc. So it's not important to look flashy and web 2.0 with bubble buttons et al - it simply has to work for the client. Plus most people are used to a boring Pc looking admin site.

I normally build an admin section for client to log into using the Webassist products and then built the public bit using recordsets and divs in dreamweaver.

So, to my question - what does Data Bridge have to make me fork out $200 - I'm charging a bit for this one and I've just used the same method for years and thought I might treat myself to an update of iRite but see I need the package.

I've used Webassist for years and it always works for me... apart from the table layout bit.

Genuine question - this isn't a whinge about product bundling etc - what is the new update like?


I've got about a week before I start the admin side so if anyone's got any advice or raves about it, just put your opinion below for me to read.

iRite uses an old version of the FCKEditor package that was been discontinued.

Data Bridge uses the newer CKEditor version that is the replacement to FCKEditor.

Also in Data Bridge, there is the newer Security Assist 2 and Data Assist 3.
