Free tools, but...

Ouch. Installed Free Tools 1.00 on my Mac Dreamweaver 5.5 which was running so sweet.
Now when I started up over loaded with errors WA_XML.js XMLstring no properties and shared.js and RSSUpdate.js not defined etc.
Removed and installed 1.01 just released. More errors. Removed. Original errors plus wa_paypal.htm. So now laboriously removing all WA extensions and starting again. Very frustrating

Go to WebAssist -> Preferences in the Memento section Set the Show in dreamweaver option to Never.

In the RSS Section, check the option to disable all RSS Feeds and Check For Updates only when Memento opens.

Then go to Window -> Work Space layout -> Reset '<your layout name>'

and Delete the Dreamweaver Cache file from the users configuration folder:
common_installation_issues.php

Just to let you know that this fix worked for me. I kept getting the WA_getExtensionDir is not defined in RSSUpdate.js error when opening DW CS5.5 after installing Free Tools.
No need to uninstall any extensions.
