Access denied for a login page ?

Hi there
I had a login.php page called index.php.

I renamed the index.php page to login.php
and made a new index.php page, with a button to the login.php page
updated pages with the updated links, and uploaded...

Now when I click the login button on the index.php it goes to
access_denied.php, with the message "acces denied", so I cant get to the login.php page.

Please advise

access denied is the failed redirect on the login page.

the login is failing because the form you have on the index page that posts to the login page does not have any elements in it to input your username and password.

if you want to add a login form to the index page, it must contain the same username and password elements as the one on the login page, make sure they have the same name, the names of the elements are the important part.

Hi Jason - I see..

What I just wanted to do was to make a css button and link to the login.php page.

Can I redirect to antoher page with a css button, in another way !

dont use a form, use a link around the button:

php:
<a href="login.php"><input type="submit" value="Submit" class="Sharporange" id="Sharporange2" name="Sharporange2" /></a>
