First couldn't uninstall, now can't install

At first the Extension Manager wouldn't allow me to uninstall Design Extender and Data Bridge so that I could install the latest builds. I renamed the Configurations folder and was able to install a fresh copy of Design Extender 1.11. Now I can't install Data Bridge 1.08 or Free tools 1.0.1. I get the attached error message from the Extension Manager. What am I to do now?

OSX 10.6.8
DW CS6

The uninstall can sometimes take a little while to complete. It may have seemed to be frozen, but still working.

When you download the extensions, you may have the option to Save the file or Open it.

Make sure to select the option to save it, then when it is done downloading to your computer, open the extension manager and click the install button, and browse to the downloaded MXP file.

Hi Jason,
I understand that the extensions can take a while to do they're thing, but in this case, I just keep getting that error message (attached to my first post) from the extension manager. It then stops trying to install the extension completely. So basically, I can't install Data Bridge or Free Tools at all.

I have the problem resolved. I trashed the extension manager and reinstalled it. The extensions appear to be installing without errors now. I think it had to do with the fact that I had played around with creating custom sets in the extension manager. I'll avoid doing that from now on because it seemed to really foul things up. Thanks for your support.
