Populate dynamic connections from separate databse.

Really like Dynamic Connections, however, not sure if I'm thinking correctly here.

I have a simple CMS system I have built, and I believe dynamic connections will give me the option of serving the CMS pages for all users from one single server, filtered by the domain, rather than setting up the system on each users hosting account.

I would like to set up a separate database of users with various details including database name, database username and password details.

I am wondering if it is possible to populate the dynamic extensions code from a separate database of users, perhaps using a repeat region or some other method?

Hopefully I am explaining this OK

No, Dynamic connections can not retrieve the servername, database name and other details from a database.

Dynamic connections is used to make the connection to the database, it's not possible to get information from the database until the connection has been made.

Understood, thought it might have been possible to source details from a separate database and connection.
Thanks for clarifying this.
