Show a Div on Submit

Rather than go to another page (i.e. thankyou.php) I would like to keep to the same page on submit but show a div that says thankyou !

Can this be done?

yes, leave the redirect empty in universal email, then use an if statement to show the thank you message based on a post value from the form.

for example, if the form contains an element named "firstName" you could show a thank you message if the firstName post element is set:

php:
<?php if(isset($_POST['firstName']) && $_POST['firstName'] != "") { ?>

Thank you for contacting us!
<?php ?>

If I had a form called "form" would it be like this?...

<?php if(isset($_POST['form']) && $_POST['form'] != "") { ?>
Thank you for contacting us!
<?php } ?>

and would I put this within the form tag?

Cheers!

no, it's not based on the name of the form, but based on the name of an element in the form .
