my first guess is that you have set the Remember me and Auto login option so the login form is redirecting you back. Try clearing your browsers cookies, or try a different browser that doesn't have the remember and auto login option set.
If you still have the same problem, I'll need a copy of the login page and the protected page to look at the code.
Jason, I'm attaching both pages, the login page and the protected page. I deleted my cookies, and now it won't even go to the index page - it just submits the form and sits on the login page. Thanks!
how is the Logged in to company rule defined in the Security Assist Rules Manager?
Dialog box: restrict access to this page based on SecurityAssist rule.
Grant access if: Logged into company
If access denied, go to: company_login.php
Is this what you're asking?
No, i'm asking how the Logged into company rule is defined.
go to WebAssist -> Security Assist -> Manage Site Access -> Access Rules Manager. select the Logged into company rule and edit it to see how it is defined.
Type: Allow if
Value: <?php echo $_SESSION['SecurityAssist_companyID']; ?>
Criteria: <>
...and I think I see the problem. I wanted my session vairable to be called companyID, NOT SecurityAssist_companyID, so I renamed it. I suspect this will "cure" things, right? In the future, is there somewhere that I can name what I want my session variable to be called instead of accepting the Security Assist default? Thanks! I'll let you know if renaming the value in this rule works.
yes, using the companyID session should correct the issue.
The security assist wizard does not allow you to set the name of the session variable that is created.
if you change it after running the wizard, you will also need to change it in the rule.
Thanks, Jason. I'll have to remember to change it in the rule as well.
