PayPal Button Does Not Show on Live Site

I have been using the PayPal button for quite a while in several sites with not problem. Recently I have noticed that more than half the time, the button will not show up - only the alt words "Make payments with PayPal, it's fast, free, and secure!". This does not happen all the time, sometimes the image will show up. I thought at first that it was just a slow connection and the image from the PayPal server was not downloading fast enough for my computer, but this has happened on my office computer, my home computer, and several of my clients have contacted me to report this same issue. The url for the image is: x-click-but6.gif When I go to that url, I find the same problem, sometimes it shows "timed out" error and sometimes it shows the image.

where you have the same problem visiting the image hosted on the paypal server, you should contact paypal about this to see if there is an alternate umage URL you can use.

Or you could download the image, and save it to your site, and set the payment button to use the saved version on your site instead of the version on Paypals site.

That's kind of what I thought, I was wondering if anyone else was having the same issue. I downloaded the image and then linked to that and it seems to be working.

Thanks for the quick reply!
