Putting the side menu on the index page...

I have edited the Index page template, asn was able to put the side menu from catalog pages on the front. It looks proper, opens and closes (javascript) proper, however clicking on it produces no effect. It does not go anywhere or do anything.

Please see here....

Any ideas why clicking on a link does not going anywhere?

the side menu is not intended to work on the index page.

The links of the side menu use an ajax function to update the contents that are displayed on the results page. The Ajax function dynamically sets the content of the "content" div on the page. The index page does not contain a "content" div, so will not work with the side menu. This is not a supported modification to power store.
