Slide show gallery on front page of PS 4.5.3

Can a Gallery be place on the front page with rotating images instead of the stagnant "Your Message" and "Featured Product" filler? If so, does it have to be a WA gallery or can it be a third party widget? Nothing against any of the WA galleries it's just the one I want to use you just don't produce at the moment.

Power Store has a gallery built in.

In the Power Store admin go to Content -> Galleries to create a new gallery.

once the gallery is created, go to Content Manage section. Select Home Page - Site Message content area to edit the site message. On the bottom row of the HTMML Editor toolbars, the last button to the right is the add gallery button that will allow you to add the gallery to your site message.

You could probably use a third party gallery as well, but we cannot offer support for that, and it would probably take some hand coding.

Thanks Jason, I will do what you suggested. I'd rather use the WA gallery if it will work so there's just less room for trouble. Thanks again.

Jason, this is kind of what I'm trying to achieve with the front page. I've attached the image. Do I just delete the areas or will they just drop below when I put the Gallery in place? Maybe instead of deleting them I just clear the content?

Remove the content from the Site message content area and replace it with the gallery.

I've placed the test gallery in there but I'm unable to edit the function of the gallery height & width. I'm going to need to remove the other content and get rid of that padding. I guess my question is once I have the template in place that I'm using, can I sync the site to Dreamweaver (local) and alter the CSS there then just put it back to the remote location?

I'm going to keep digging but if this is something you can solve with a paid support ticket let me know what it will cost. I'm fairly happy with everything else, is just the picture gallery for the front page that I would like to work.

Yes, you can modify the CSS on your local system and re upload it to the server, If you would like assistance in correcting this, we could help you in a premium support incident.

I see the premium is $49.99. If that is correct then I'd like to proceed with that. I tried to start it myself but my only option is the Premier for $99.99 Let me know what to do.

I've made some headway and finally dug out the CSS I was looking for. I'm sure I'm going to hit a wall with this somewhere so I'll wait for the support ticket for the moment. Let me know if it was the $49 or $99 one you were referring to though.
