No recordsets created for menu items

DW CS 5.5, WA DB 1.0.5 ::

Created a series of pages via DataAssist Pages wizard and none of the recordsets were created for the menu items, thus the dropdown menus are not populated on any of the pages (search, insert or update.)

Neither the code for the dropdowns to display the recordset nor the recordsets were created.

php:
<li class="formItem">
            <div class="formGroup">
                  <div class="lineGroup">
                     <div class="fullColumnGroup">
                          <div class="errorGroup">
<div class="fieldPair">
                       <div class="fieldGroup">
                                        <span id="efsStatus_Spry">
                       <span>
      <select class="formMenufield_Large" name="efsStatus" id="efsStatus" onChange="hideServerError('efsStatus_ServerError');">
      </select>
<label for="efsStatus" class="sublabel" >Availability Status<span class="requiredIndicator">&nbsp;*</span></label>
                                            <span class="selectRequiredMsg">Please enter a value.</span>
                                        </span>
                       </span>
<?php
if (ValidatedField('equipIns','equipIns'))  {
  if ((
strpos((",".ValidatedField("equipIns","equipIns").","), "," "1" ",") !== false || "1" == ""))  {
    if (!(
false))  {
?><span class="serverInvalidState" id="efsStatus_ServerError">Please enter a value.</span><?php //WAFV_Conditional equipIns.php equipIns(1:)

}
  }
}
?>
                       </div>
                       </div>
                          </div>
                     </div>
                  </div>
            </div>
            </li>

Is this a known issue?

:: Further information ::

After deleting the buggy pages and re-loading the preset in order to attempt a rebuild to see if it was an anomoly, I notice that NONE of the dynamic menu items have the previous information stored within them. Not the static option or the dynamic information.

It should be noted that there are multiple dropdown menus within this form.

** even after setting up one dynamic menu and then clicking OK, when you go back in (lightning bolt) you are left with no informatino from the previous settings.. it is all gone.

Ideas?

I have seen this happen if you set up the pages to be created in the wizard, then go into the Field Settings section and set the field to be a menu.

Changes on the manage pages tab need to be done from top to bottom

First set the Field settings, then define the pages to be created to use those field settings.

If you already have the pages set to be created in the define features section, select each one, and use the trash can icon to remove before making changes in the Filed Settings section, then add the pages to be created back in.

I am almost 100% certain that this was my workflow the first time around, but I will delete the pages and then try rebuilding them again. Standby for results.

Regardless, this is a bug and should be treated as such. Many of us will create the pages and use the preview to determine if everything has the correct size chosen, if they aren't we will modify them and expect them to buildout correctly.

Nope, there is definitley something wrong here.

I deleted all of the pages, then reset one of the menus to text and then back to a menu. Added the static option and dynamic information, clicked OK. Went back into the configure field setings and the settings for that menu are all forgotten.

I believe there is an issue here.
