Massimo

problem with authentication

I have a problem. I can not make authentication work.
apparently it's okay.

app works so (it's live site but can you can try with a test):
a user inserts an ad for used sale.

annuncio_Insert.php

when click on insert
is email stored in db and will be used as username in a field called mail
and creates a random password that is stored in the announcekey field

when the user wants to edit his ad:

click on edit(modifica) in the his ad used page and go to a new page that ask mail, that must match with mail field of the ad, selected from id

then send to the user username(mail) and psw(announcekey) field for access to update page

but when trying to login does not work

sometimes ago all work but now I don't understand what happen
may be because the username you use is not unique? or password is too long?
or problem with access groups manager?

need help

I'm not sure what steps I am supposed to be following to reproduce this issue.

I have entered a add, clicked on the link to in the email, but I don't see anywhere to login, i don't see a password to use, and i don't see the modifica link to edit anything.

the link in the email seams to be badly formed:
657346er37rt6u67.php?26256367789784=2df5cf96b7aef7409c1f8884c2e1f26a77a6a471

and extra forward slash:
annunci//

and brings me to a page not found error.

I'm not at all sure what you want me to take a look at.

On your site I dont see a way to register and/or login.

I just tried creating another add, I got the email, and it linked to the attivazione_annuncio.php but i dont see a username or password to use, and I don't see a link to login.

I'm not at all sure what steps I am supposed to be taking to reproduce the problem you are reporting, it is not clear form you description of the problem what to do, or what the problem is.

When you go in to your page at bottom there is a change (edit) button. Then you can insert your e-mail and receving email user name (email you) and psw.

when trying to login it directs me to:
error_bad_word.php?accesscheck=%2Fannunci%2Fprova.php

So it looks like the login is redirecting to the login success page annunci/prova.php:
"successRedirect" => "annunci/prova.php",

and the annunci/prova.php page is refusing access. What access rule is applied to the annunci/prova.php page?

is the server configured to store sessions properly, use the session test page form the following thread to check:
showpost.php?p=23826&postcount=2

the session work well.

now the login success page is annunci/annuncio_Update.php
I have applied a group rule as:
case "Logged in to annuncio":
$comparisons[0] = array(TRUE, "".((isset($_SESSION['SecurityAssist_idannuncio']))?$_SESSION['SecurityAssist_idannuncio']:"") ."", 2, "");
break;

you can see it in att. files
but alwais not work
