Rune Brynestad

Can't run the checkout Wizard

I get the attached Javascript Error when I try to run the Checkout Wizzard. See picture.

I have deleted the Winfile cache

I have deleted the config folder and started with eCart as the only extension installed

I'm using Dreamweaver CS5 on a Windows 7 64 bits system

I'm using eCart version 5.0.6

I'm attaching the eCartDesignObject.js file and my cart.php file. The file WA eCart CheckoutWizard.htm is not located on my computer.

Rune

in the WA_eCart folder of your site, delete the WA_DMCFG.xml file

I have deleted the WA_DMCFG.xml file in the WA_eCart folder of my site. The javascript error disappear, but a Dreamweaver warning shows up.

"Please insert an eCart Display at least once in the site before using the wizard" See attached picture.

I have a shopping cart in my site and I'm standing on the cart.php page when I try to run the wizard.

I'm attaching a copy of my cart.php page.

Try creating a new cart display on a new page to the WA_DMCFG.xml file

Thanks. It looks like it's working now.

I'm planning to use the recomended PayPal Express Checkout service this time instead of PayPal Standard, but I can't find that option in the wizard. I only see PayPal Proffessional and PayPal Standard. Am I missing something ?

PayPal express is a part of PayPal Pro.

Select to use Paypal pro, then delete the checkout form from the checkout page leaving only the express checkout button

Not surprising, it did not work on my first test.

The error being reported is:

The totals of the cart item amounts do not match order amounts.

Here's the full request and full response:

The problem is caused by using Option that effect price,

when using options that effect price, like on the cart display page, where you had to trade out the Price binding for the True price binding, the same needs to happen in the paypal code that passes the cart information.

on the Checkout page, double click the Authorize transaction for payPal Express server behavior, and bind the price variable to the true price column of the cart.
