Thanks Mike,

Yeah, I upgraded to Data Bridge last night and it works. Now I have to spend $300 upgrading to Design Extender just to make a $99 Framework Builder extension compatible. Unbelievable that you have to buy a whole suite of tools just so the one extension that I actually use in the bundle works. Just unreal .....

DMXzone.com is looking so much better every day.

Hi Brad
Good to hear its working. Brad double check you may find your upgrade price isnt so high. Another thing there is the intergration which is far superior to anything wa have done before.

I use DMX extensions too and they work pretty well with framework builder especially using plpugins. Very different extensions though.

Just my thoughts.

"Brad double check you may find your upgrade price isnt so high."

Haha, I have checked and tried to justify it. Framework Builder is the only extension in the package I could even think of a reason to use.

WA has great extensions, Jason provides above average support ..... but seriously their business model really needs work.

As a result I have completely switched my own business model to using Adobe Business Catalyst. I only have one client left that is not on Business Catalyst. Albeit it is a very large client. But to be forced to by a lot of useless extensions just to have some great extensions CS6 compatible is unjustified.

If it is sold as a stand alone it should be supported as a standalone.

Getting a little sore from bending over for WA if you know what I mean.

Brad,

Based on your purchase History, you are eligible for discounted upgrade price of $149.99 for Data Bridge and $39.99 Design Extender, but you will need to email the sales department at sales@webassist.com to receive the upgrade price.

We have found that most of the stand alone extensions do work in CS6 on Windows, most of the CS6 issues we have found are actually due to a Dreamweaver Bug on Mac OS that we have reported to Adobe.

Thanks Jason,

I will contact them as that is not the price listed in my upgrades page and I paid $250 for Data Bridge upgrade last night.

Those upgrade costs are much much more reasonable! At those upgrade prices I would have no issues with the new bundles and much of my rants would not have been said.

This has brought back some faith that I have in Web Assist.

So I did email sales about this last week and I have yet to hear anything at all back. Any idea if it is being looked into or not?
