Custom checkout fields

Custom checkout fields

I am having trouble getting 2 custom fields to record during checkout in the orders table. I am using a field named "schools" that will hold 5-10 school names in a dropdown. And a student field, where the purchaser will type in the students first and last name in a single field.

Also, I need to record my product SKU and a checkbox that Ray helped me create in a premier ticket call, I'm not sure how to lookup the sku in the products table, and return the corresponding value in my SKU column.

see this post for details on adding form elements to the checkout page:

for the SKU, you should add a new column to the cart object, and capture the SKU in the add to cart behavior.
