Installation Wizard Not Popping Up

I have created Content Areas for PowerCMS for the first time and the Launch Installation Wizard is not popping up. How do I launch it so I can install PowerCMS?

Also, is there a way to delete/modify content areas?

make sure all files are uploaded to your server, then go to your site and add /admin_cms/index.php to the address bar.

All files are uploaded to the server successfully. Then I went to /admin_cms/index.php to get the installation wizard to launch and this is the error message I received:

Warning: mysql_pconnect() [function.mysql-pconnect]: Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: YES) in /home/jduran/public_html/Connections/PowerCMSConnection.php on line 9

Fatal error: Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: YES) in /home/jduran/public_html/Connections/PowerCMSConnection.php on line 9

Translation please? Thanks so much.

you need to update the data base connection file:
Connections/PowerCMSConnection.php

with the correct server name, username, password and database for connecting to the live MySQL server.

All info is correct. I also tested the Mysql connection and it connects successfully.

It amy be correct for the local testing server, but it is not correct for the remote server.

The error is saying that the remote MySQL Server on your hosts site is denying access for the username and password that you entered.

Thank you for your patience. I haven't done any of this before. I went to my host and created a Mysql database with username and password. Then went to Dreamweaver and clicked PowerCMS Connection to edit it. Currently it says:

Connection Name: PowerCMS Connection
MySql Server: I tried all of the following - localhost, name of new database, remote server
Username: username of remote server database
Password: password of remote server database
Database: Mysql

all gave me no connections

Please direct me on what I am doing wrong here.

Database: Mysql

Is your database called Mysql?

or is it testimonials or faqs

A sample of one of my connections (edited)

$hostname_xxx2011 = "localhost";
$database_xxx2011 = "xxx_2011";
$username_sxxx2011 = "xxxxx";
$password_xxxl2011 = "xxxxx";
