Is Pro Maps V2 or V3 API

I see that Google hasn't supported the V2 API since May of 2010 and that it will stop working on May 19th, 2013. That is not very long from now.

Is Pro Maps currently written to use the V2 API, or the V3 API?
If still on V2, is there a timeframe to get V3 implemented?

The Stand alone Pro Maps Google extension uses the V2 API.

The version used in Design Extender uses the V3 API.

What?

That doesn't seem fair. I purchased the ProMaps extension and the only way to update it is to spend $400 on a package?

The V2 google API still works. The stand alone version of pro maps wont be Upgraded to support the V3 API. If you wanted to use the V3 API, you would need to purchase the upgrade to Design Extender.

Based on your purchase history, you would qualify for an Upgrade Discount of $114.96 for a cost of $285.3. Or you could continue using the Stand Alone version of Pro Maps.
