How do I update a form?

I created a form with DataBridge and DataAssist.

How do I change validation after creating the form page?
How do I update the form design after creating the form page?

The only way I found to achieve this is by recreating the complete form. Is this correct?

You can use Dreamweaver to edit the form once it has been created.

Server validation is editable from the Server Behaviors window, the form is designed with css that can be edited in the css panel.

If you want to completely redesign the whole form, then you would have to recreate it, but small tweaks can be easily made through Dreamweaver which still acts as your editor when pages are completed.

Francly speaking, that's week...

I don't understand why your tool can't just load the formerly created form to reedit it.

Also, when I change the form design in the form builder and create even a new form with data builder, I first have to reapply the theme in order to load it. Not user friendly.

There are to many possible changes that could be made to the form to be able to inspect them all in order to allow the form builder wizard to update and not break some of them.

Form builder is intended to build the form, not edit an form that is already created.

What about DataBridge? I can't see a way to load the form and change the form fields in one window. Or do I miss something here?

In Data Bridge, you select the form Design to use on the on the Page design section of the Page Settings tab.

On the manage pages tab, click the edit icon for the Configure Fields tab to select the element types to be used in the forms.

But when I edit the design in form builder preset (it's theme) the new css stuff is not taken over to the data bridge automaticly. I've got to got back and reselect it. That takes hours of additional work.

Changing the theme in form builder will not effect pages that have already been created using Data Bridge.

You would need to recreate the pages using Data Bridge to use the new theme.
