trouble with initial zoom

I've read the PDF on setting the zoom for the map, but it's not working. Whatever I enter, the map looks the same.

Please go to this page: advListingDetail.php?listingID=18&keyword=

and click on Map. I've entered 5 for the zoom, and I've entered 15 for the zoom, and it looks the same each time.

Thank you!

try finding each instance of this line:

php:
map.setCenter(point, 13);

and changeing 13 to zoom level you wish to use:

php:
map.setCenter(point, 15);

FYI: In Design Extender, Zoom is now an option in the map creation wizard. along with selecting the Map Type and a number of other enhancements.

It doesn't seem to have affected the zoom at all, unfortunately.

it looks to me like the map is displaying at the correct zoom level of 15 that you are trying to use.

the zoom levels go from 1 - 18, 1 being zoomed all the way out, 18 being zoomed al the way in.

I'm still not seeing a whole lot of difference in the zoom, but it could be that the addresses I'm looking at are so rural that I can't tell. I'll give it a try with something that is more city oriented. Thanks!

try testing a bigger zoom rage.

Test with 3, then again with 15.

also, the code change i suggested is a replacement for the map.setzoom line, delete that line if you use my code change.

I think that's better. I'll just play around with it. Thanks, Jason!
