Deactivating Powerstore

Hello - I have a copy of Powerstore 2 on a live site - although in reality it's nothing more than a testing site. The store has been installed and a little bit of front page text was altered. However, I've never had the time to do anything with it. But now I want to uninstall it and have it available for reuse at some point in the future.

What is the procedure for this? Do I just delete it off the server and reinstall on a different server and web address when required?

Thanks

the licensing terms allow you to have the store installed as a testing platform as well as installed in a live environment.

you can either leave the test store in place, and install to the live server, or delete it from the test platform if you wish.

Hello,

The test server was with '1+1' hosting company. But my contract has expired and, therefore, now no longer exists - the PS2 site's hosting and domain have been removed by 1+1.

So, to clarify, can I just install with a new host with a new domain name?

Yes you can. If you want, I can delete the activation for the 1 and 1 domain so you can set up another test store, let me know the domain name it was activated for on 1 and 1 and I can delete the old activation.

I dont see any activations for Power Store 2 associated with your email address in our system, I am not able to find an activation for that domain.

Hello - It's possible it was Powerstore 3. I've bought version 2, 3 and 4 and only activated one as far as I remember. It was quite a while ago and I never really got very far with it.

Is there a record of any activation for Powerstore?

I only see activations for Power Store 4, but none for that domain.
