Paypal does not redirect to success.php

Hi, i have yet another issue. after proceeding with making a purchase. and continuing to pay with paypal. once u have clicked the pay now button the payment is successfull and u get redictred to paypals success page where it says "click here to return to home if page hasnt redirected"

once u either click that link or wait to be redirected the checkout success page does not load and says page cannot be found... am i suppose to link these two pages some how for it to work? im using paypal standard payment.

on the confirm.php page, there is a hidden element used to set the return page named return. Set the value of this hidden element to the full URL for your checkout success page:

example:

php:
<input type="hidden" name="return" id="return" value="http://www.mydomain.com/checkoput_success.php" />

thanks jason, that works like a charm.

for the checkout_failure.php

would i need to do the same thing and put in the full link there for the cancel_return?

Payment standard does not use a failure page.

The transaction with paypal standard is not processed real time. The checkout success page really only means that paypal has accepted the payment method and placed the transaction in a queue to process on a first come first served basis.

The cancel URL is used if the customer hits the cancel button on paypals site.
