While executing onLoad in WA_AppBuilder.htm, the following JavaScript error(s) occurr

I recently installed databridge and started a new project with AataAssist. I can't get the wizard to start working for me. i keep getting the error:

While executing onLoad in WA_AppBuilder.htm, the following JavaScript error(s) occurred:
At line 433 of file "C:\Users\rgolab\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Dreamweaver CS5\en_US\Configuration\commands\WA_AppBuilder.js": App_OBJ.layoutOptionInfo[pageType] has no properties

I have looked through the forums and see that some other people have had this error, and a ticket has been created but i don't see the solution.

i have deleted the .dat file even going as far as rebooting the system but nothing is working. Any ideas/ Do i have to uninstall DA and see if that lear things?

Ron

I have read that all previous version of Dataassit etc should have been uninstalled before installing Data bridge. I am going to try this to see if it clears up the issue.

Java Errors - Dataassit diferences

OK, just spent several hours uninstalling all the web assist tools and the re-installing them. I still get Java Script errors when I start Dreamweaver like the ones attached.

In addition to this with Data Assist I used to add the data_assit wizard and then chose a template to define the look of my pages, I can't seem to find this option.

It also states each time I start the DataAssist Create pages application that I have to connect to upload my database connections ... they are already there. When I say go ahead and upload them they say check you connections, testing server may not be connected properly. I am already connected to my database.

When I try to create pages even after I define which connection and database I want it to use it doesn't go smoothly.

A bit frustrated here.

Where are the "Starting Dataassit" instructions for this new procedure? online?

For the Error Messages, reset the workspace layout:
go to Window -> Workspace Layout -> Reset '<Your layout name>'

Then delete the Dreamweaver Cache file from the users configuration folder:
common_installation_issues.php

The message about uploading the database connection will occur if your site definition is defined to use the remote server as the testing server. I recommend using a local testing server instead.

The option to choose a template was removed from the Data Assist create pages wizard, you will need to apply the template after the pages are created, or use Framework builder Themes and Plugins.

Javascript errors

Thanks Jason,

Startup error is now gone. I had deleted the .dat file several times along the process to see if it would help clear it up but i did do it again.

I did apply the templates no problem however in the last cart I made within the site it had a specific style and colours with the buttons etc. that I wanted to copy. I was hoping i could have pulled this colour scheme somehow.

As for the testing server I do not have a eunning test server on my desktoop so I don't beleive I can run the testing server on my route folder. i was going to install it but our IT departmetn feels that is could open up secutrity issues withi the network. :(

Thanks again. I'll try and see if i can get a little further now.
