Site Import Error - DE 1.08

Andrew Dodd - ADDIGITAL

Site Import Error - DE 1.08

When using Design Extender (1.08) to Import Pages, I complete the Wizard and then get the following error (graphic attached also):

Error in button OnClick:
Type Error: MM.SiteToolsActivate is not a function

I am using Dreamweaver CS6 on Mac OSX 10.7.4. I have uninstalled the extension, deleted the cachefile and reinstalled.

I am beginning to think that these combined extensions are really not a good idea, tho... Never had so much downtime!

TIA

Andrew

Hi, was this situation resolved as I am having the same error (MM.SiteToolsActivate is not a function) appear when using SiteImport from Design Extender extension. Running on CS5 on PC. Thanks.

The current version of Design Extender is 1.1.1, if you are using a previous version, make sure to uninstall it from the extension manager and install the newer one that is available from the download center.

I had the recent version installed already but I tried uninstalling it and deleted the cachefile then did a reinstall. Still having the same error come up.

I've also noticed that when I do try and run Site Import and I get the error MM.SiteToolsActivate is not a function, I do a restart of Dreamweaver and I then get a message on start-up of Dreamweaver "At line 22 of file "<path-to-config>:Floaters:WA_SiteTools_ProgressV2.js": theDOM has no properties". So I then have to reset my layout and delete my cachefile again and do another restart. It is starting to get a little tedious now to be honest so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Is there any updates on this as I really need to be able to use this extension right now... Many thanks.

I'm have DW CS5.5 with your extensions Data Assist 2.10, Design Extender 1.1.1, Universal Email 4.0.1, eCart 5.06, Security Assist 1.1.9 installed and enabled.

Every time I start DW I'm getting the error "At line 22 of file "<path-to-config>:Floaters:WA_SiteTools_ProgressV2.js": theDOM has no properties"

I've completed the same old routine... uninstalled everything, empty the cache, reinstall everything and the error persists.

I agree with Andrew Dodd. I think that these combined extensions are not a good idea. I've brought just about every extension over the years. Each year they seem to get more and more bloated. So much so I've been weening myself off your extensions and doing hand code because it's faster to do the hand code in the long run. I'm really getting tired of fighting with them.
